Bangin’ on with Clairy Brown

Melbourne singer Clairy Brown along with her harmonising girl group The Bangin’ Rackettes has a passion for the hard hitting sounds of northern soul, jump blues, doo-wop, ska and gospel. For those not going to WOMAD or those willing to sneak out on Friday night (March 9) they are playing at the Barrio and are well and truly worth seeing. If you can’t see them this time around their debut album Baby Caught the Bus is the next best thing.
