Elliot Perlman is a highly renowned Australian fiction writer. He’s written screenplays and novels Seven Types of Ambiguity and Three Dollars. After seven years in the making his latest novel Street Sweeper deals with life in New York. Elliot talks with Cath Kenneally about the opening incident, who the characters are and why he felt the need to write it.
